Trade winds blowing in scattered showers this week

The fresh trade winds and the typical rainfall pattern they bring with them are expected to continue through the middle of the week as a strong high-pressure system remains north of the state, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers will favor Windward and mountain areas, forecasters said.
The winds will likely decline later in the week and into the weekend.
