Maui pedestrian dies after weekend traffic accident

KAHULUI, Maui — A 33-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night on Hana Highway.Police said Keolanalani J. Fonseca of Ha'iku was crossing the highway near the Hobron Avenue intersection in Kahului at 10:45 p.m. when he was hit by a west-bound Toyota.
