History talk on Nu'alolo Kai

Malama Maha'ulepu will sponsor a talk and photo display on the archaeology of the Na Pali region of Nu'alolo Kai at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Koloa Neighborhood Center.

Sabra Kauka, president of the Na Pali Coast 'Ohana, will present a talk, accompanied by photographs by noted photographer Kathleen "Kat" Ho.

They will review the archaeology of the area and the work of residents, businesses, scientists and government agencies to protect and restore the historical resources of the area.

Nu'alolo Kai was inhabited for as much as 800 years, into the early 20th century.

The talk is free and open to the public.
