Sign-wavers at schools will urge drivers to slow down

Dozens will wave signs outside of two Honolulu schools Friday to urge drivers to slow down and look out for pedestrians.The sign-waving events will be held from 7 to 8 a.m. in front of Stevenson Middle School and Roosevelt High School.
The sign waving is part of a statewide program sponsored by AIG-Hawai'i, which has partnered with the police department and various schools to increase awareness about road safety.
