Kaua'i's summer golf program for kids taking sign-ups

WAILUA, Kaua'i – Registration for the county's Summer Golf Program will be held at the Wailua Golf Shop, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., starting Tuesday.Three two-week sessions are being offered for youngsters, ages 7 to 14 at the Wailua Golf Course: June 12 to 22; June 25 to July 6; and July 9 to 20. The sessions will run Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., except holidays.
The cost is $25 per child per session. Participants will need to bring a driver, a three- or five-fairway wood, putter, seven iron and pitching wedge.
