Martial arts school offers assault-prevention course

The Hawaii Zenyo Bu Jutsu Kai will hold a women's assault-prevention course from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 20 at the Daijingu Temple of Hawaii (61 Puiwa Rd., behind Queen Emma Summer Palace).Any woman who takes the course may take it again for free for up to a year. "We want the women of Hawai'i to be safe," says Steve McLaughlin, an instructor with Hawaii Zenyo Bu Jutsu Kai.
