Man arrested for threatening officers released

A 58-year-old man arrested for investigation of first-degree terroristic threatening in a confrontation yesterday with two police officers was released today pending further investigation.The 8:50 a.m. confrontation at a undisclosed public storage site in Leeward O'ahu involved the man refusing orders from the officers to drop a knife. The officers employed non-lethal means to disarm the man, who they say wanted police to shoot him.
