Rainbows open WAC softball tournament play today

The nationally ranked University of Hawai'i softball team opens play at the Western Athletic Conference tournament against Louisiana Tech this morning in Fresno, Calif.The game is scheduled for 8 a.m. Hawai'i time.
If the Rainbow Wahine win, they play tomorrow morning. If they lose, they play another game this afternoon in the double-elimination tournament.
Louisiana Tech beat Utah State yesterday, 8-1, in the first round. The Rainbow Wahine received a bye as the tournament's top seed.
UH (45-9) is ranked No. 12 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association and No. 13 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball top 25s.
