SUMMA HAWAII COMPLETES HAWAII'S THREE LARGEST CONDOTEL PROJECTS

Procurement, project management and consulting firm puts finishing touches on Ala Moana Hotel condotel conversion, Hilton Kauai Beach Resort and Waipouli Beach Resort this spring

HONOLULU – www.summahawaii.com <www.summahawaii.com> – Summa Hawaii today announced the following Hawaii projects are completed or near completion after extensive renovation by local firm Summa Hawaii, the state's only full-service procurement, project management and consulting firm for resorts and hotels.

The $200-million conversion of all 1,100 rooms and common areas at the Ala Moana condotel began in April 2005 and recently was completed. Summa Hawaii provided all the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) as well as operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) for the extensive renovation. During the project, Summa Hawaii handled the product procurement and project logistics.

The Hilton Kauai Beach Resort condotel renovation began in September of 2005 and is expected to be complete next month by Summa Hawaii. During this project, Summa Hawaii renovated 354 rooms, providing procurement and project logistics for the FF&E and OS&E.

Finally, Summa Hawaii provided its full range of services during the Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa condotel renovation of 132, one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens and living rooms. The $300-million project began in August of 2006 and is wrapping up this month.

"Summa Hawaii was exemplary in its sourcing, purchasing, record keeping, logistics, installations and final touches that made our experience very rewarding with our clientele. They worked perfectly with our selected designer and made sure the vendors guaranteed their product to the end," said Keith Singleton, Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa Developer. "The value to passing this HUGE task off to an efficient and well-organized group such as Summa Hawaii made us look great to our customers. Summa's staff were available around the clock and were extremely responsive to our immediate needs."

Summa Hawaii is the only company in the state to provide a full range of procurement, project management and consulting services for hotels, resorts, restaurants, condotel and timeshares.
