'Ewa man charged with armed robbery

A 31-year-old 'Ewa man was charged today with an April 8 armed robbery at Ke'ehi Lagoon Beach Park.

Michael Bolo Coloyan was identified as a robbery suspect yesterday after police went to the park to break up an argument he was inolved in.

Two men were involved in the gunpoint robbery; a second suspect is still at large.

A man, 29, told police that he was confronted by two men at 7 a.m. on April 8 at the park and was robbed of his wallet.

Coloyan is charged with first-degree robbery and his bail is $25,000. According to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records, Coloyan has 15 prior convictions.
