Meeting May 23 on bike section

Advertiser Staff

The county will hold its fourth public meeting on the Lydgate-to-Kapa'a section of the coastal pedestrian and bike path, Ke Ala Hele Makalae, from 7 to 9 p.m. May 23 at Kapa'a Middle School cafeteria.

Kimura International has been contracted to do the environmental planning for this two-mile section. It runs from Lydgate Park to the Lihi Boat Ramp in Kapa'a, and connects two existing sections of the path — one complete and one under construction.

The project is part of a planned 16-mile route from Anahola to Nawiliwili.
