Fresno State wins WAC softball tournament title

Fresno State rallied for two runs in the top of the sixth inning today en route to a 5-3 victory over Nevada for the Western Athletic Conference softball tournament title today at Fresno, Calif.The Bulldogs receive the WAC's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Hawai'i, which lost to Fresno State yesterday, will find out tomorrow whether it will receive an at-large berth to the tournament, which begins May 18.
The Rainbow Wahine (46-11) are No. 12 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Associating and No. 13 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball polls.
