Trade winds taking a break, should return in a few days

The cooling trade winds will continue to weaken today and will likely be replaced by local land and sea breezes in some areas by tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.Light trades are due to return during the first part of the new work week along with a few more windward and mauka showers.

Today, sunny. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 78 to 86. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 76 to 84. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
