Stanislaus tops UH-Hilo, 7-0, in Division II softball

Cal State Stanislaus rolled to a 7-0 victory over the University of Hawai'i-Hilo today in the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Softball Championship West Region tournament at Turlock, Calif.It was the first loss of the tournament for UH-Hilo (42-12). The Vulcans will play the winner of Seattle University-Humboldt State on Sunday for the chance to face Stanislaus again for the tournament title.
Seattle was leading Humboldt State, 3-2, today when the game was called due to darkness. It will resume Sunday morning.
