More sun than rain expected over the next few days

The trade winds have weakened and will remain light through the first part of the new week, according to the National Weather Service.

Sea breezes may develop during the afternoon, forecasters said.

Look for scattered early morning showers over parts of O'ahu, followed by increasing cloudiness and showers this afternoon.

Here's a close look at the next few days:

Today, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 75 to 83. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 71. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday, mostly sunny. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 76 to 84. Southeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 64 to 72. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday, sunny. Highs 78 to 85. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 64 to 73. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
