Wooden bridge reopens on Kaua'i following repairs

KAPA'A , Kaua'i — County officials have announced that the Kapahi Bridge reopened on Friday.The single-lane, wooden bridge located on Kawaihau Road at the upper Kahuna Road junction had been closed for a month for repairs. During the closure, county personnel replaced the wood decking and performed maintenance work on the bridge.
