Small swells put surfers on hold

Advertiser Staff

Good luck catching a wave this week.

The National Weather Service is calling for surf 1 foot to 3 feet along northern shores, and it's not any better around the rest of the island.

Surf will remain 1 foot to 3 feet along east shores and will be 2 feet or less along south shores.

The glass surface award would go to Makaha and other western shores, where surf is expected to be less than 1 foot today.

Minimal surf is expected to continue along all shores through Friday.
