Kaimuki drainage work under way

Work continues on improving the drainage in Kaimuki this week.

City crews are constructing a new drainage system from Po'okela Street to Wai'oma'o Stream.

Work will done between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The project should be completed by June.

Crews will also be working on new curb ramps, sidewalks and pavement striping and markings at various locations on Malia and Alakoa streets.

Drivers and pedestrians should use caution while in these areas.
