West O'ahu promoting safe driving

West O'ahu community leaders, students and police will be sign waving at Nanakuli High on Thursday, and Campbell and Kapolei high schools next week to promote traffic safety during the upcoming graduation season and summer vacation periods.

The effort began today at Wai'anae High.

Sign waving on Farrington Highway and Nanakuli Avenue Thursday will be from 1:30-3 p.m.

Campbell High's campaign is Tuesday on Fort Weaver Road and Laulaunui Street from 3-4 p.m.

At Kapolei, the sign waving will be in front of the school next Thursday from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
