Eight University of Hawai'i athletes received Western Athletic Conference All-Academic honors for the 2006-07 winter season.

Four members of the Hawai'i women's basketball team made the list: seniors Brittany Grice, Amber Lee and Pamela Tambini, and junior Amy Kotani.

All four players were repeat selections from last season. Grice and Lee were four-time WAC All-Academic selections; Kotani is a three-time selection.

Two members of the men's basketball team made the list: juniors Bobby Nash and Stephen Verwers. Nash was selected for the third time.

From the Hawai'i swimming and diving team, senior Mia Broden and junior Keli Sproat were selected. Both are repeat selections.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
