The 15th annual Samoa Cultural Festival continues the tradition of determining the world's dance champion at the WORLD FIREKNIFE CHAMPIONSHIPS. Several new categories of competition included this year are the Warrior Girls of Samoa and the Warrior's Duet Fireknife Competition, both happening tonight. The preliminaries, semi-finals and finals happen over the next several days.
For those who can't make it out to La'ie for all the excitement, a FIRE KNIFE SHOW that is not related to the competition happening at the Polynesian Cultural Center is taking place in Waikiki.
Fusion jazz guitarist Jeff Richman along with Matt Starr and Dean Taba are the featured entertainers at JAZZ WEDNESDAY.
