Hawaii Restaurant Association setting up 'Hall of Fame'

As part of its 60th anniversary this year, the Hawaii Restaurant Association will establish a "Hall of Fame" and honor its first inductees Sept. 17 in ceremonies at the Hawaii Prince Hotel.

Nomination forms may be downloaded from the association's website, www.hawaiirestaurants.org.

Among the honorees sought:

Those who have contributed to the enhancement of the image and quality of the Island restaurant and food industry.

Those who have provided service to the industry through civic, philanthropic or educational outreach.

Those who have shown commitment to the growth of the industry.

Nomination forms should be mailed to: Hall of Fame Selection Committee, c/o Hawaii Restaurant Association, 1451 S. King St. Suite 503, Honolulu HI 96814.
