Swimmer dies at Police Beach in Hale'iwa

A man found floating face down in the water today at Police Beach in Hale'iwa was pronounced dead by Emergency Medical Services personnel at 2:08 p.m.The man is believed to be 38 years old but the medical examiner's office is trying to confirm his identity.
Police have classified the case as an unattended death.
