Mobi PCS extends unlimited wireless to businesses

News Release

Honolulu, HI—In response to growing customer demand, Mobi PCS announced today the launch of Mobi2B, a complete offering of customized products and services designed to appeal to Hawaii businesses of all sizes.

While many smaller local companies have already applied Mobi's unlimited usage, predictable flat rates and no-contract flexibility to their operations, Mobi2B expands Mobi's initial consumer offer to have broader business appeal, including the addition of a smartphone, data plans with discounted corporate rates, unlimited Web and email access, and a fully-staffed B2B sales force to support business customers.

"Customer demand has shown us that Mobi's appeal reaches far beyond the individual wireless phone user," explains Bill Jarvis, president & CEO of Mobi PCS. "It's no surprise that Mobi's core value is seen as an ideal tool for shrewd business owners and operators because traditional wireless usage among employees can be costly and difficult to manage. Now Mobi2B gives Hawaii companies tools geared specifically to meet business needs."

Web, Email, Smartphone

Business professionals needing mobile Web access and email can find it on Mobi's new Palm Treo 700wx, which includes a Microsoft operating system and can easily sync to your personal email or company email exchange server. The Palm Treo 700wx is an all-in-one smartphone with email, an organizer and a Web browser; 1.3 megapixel digital camera; MP3 ringtones and player; built-in Bluetooth; and Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Mobile applications.

Mobi's new Unlimited PDA plan includes (all unlimited) Web access, email, text, video and picture messaging, directory assistance, local and domestic long distance calling, voicemail, caller ID, call waiting and conference calling. The Unlimited PDA plan is $80 monthly for individual users, with Mobi2B discounted rates available for multi-line business accounts.

Customized Offerings

Mobi2B offers discounted rates and plans customized to individual business' needs. This special pricing—in addition to the predictability of set monthly rates and the simplicity and value of unlimited usage that has made Mobi such a popular choice with individual users—represents a unique and highly competitive business solution.

Dedicated Sales Staff

To ensure quality service for its corporate customers, Mobi has created a dedicated sales division that understands business needs. Wireless veterans Shaun Holm and Mike Hall head this team, based out of Mobi's downtown Honolulu headquarters. Director of Business-to-Business Sales Douglas Richardson oversees the division.

About Mobi PCS

Mobi PCS is the only locally operated wireless network in the Hawaii. Owned by both investors and employees, Mobi revolutionized the state's wireless market in January 2006 with the launch of Oahu's first-ever flat-rate, unlimited cellular service.

Utilizing its own 3G CDMA network providing island-wide coverage, Mobi PCS is Hawai'i's only wireless provider to offer unlimited local, long distance and Web-access wireless calling plans to anywhere in the U.S. with no contracts, overage charges, credit checks or limits on inter-carrier calls. Rate plans start at $40 monthly, with a complete line of "all-you-can-use" optional services including unlimited directory assistance, Web access, text, video and picture messaging. Mobi's local calling area is the island of Oahu, with roaming available on the U.S. Mainland. Mobi plans to expand its wireless service to the Neighbor Islands sometime in early 2008.

Mobi PCS stores are located in Pearlridge Center, Windward City Shopping Center, Kapolei Ace Center, Mililani Town Center, Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange and at 1467 South King Street. Mobi PCS is also available through 55 dealer locations across Oahu.
