State girls basketball: Konawaena downs Kalani

Mana Hopkins scored 14 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to help second-seeded Konawaena defeat Kalani, 58-46, in a girls state tournament quarterfinal game at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Jazzmin Awa-Williams added 19 points for the Wildcats (15-0), who will face third-seeded 'Iolani (12-2) in the semifinals tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Kalani (13-4), led by Megan Kamehiro's 15 points, will play Radford (14-3) in a consolation game tomorrow at 4 p.m.

All games are at the Stan Sheriff Center.
