State basketball: Sacred Hearts, McKinley win in D-II

Kamehameha-Hawai'i 53, No. 3 Seabury Hall 46

Kanisha Bello scored 18 points and Tabitha Eseroma added 13 as the Warriors rallied past the third-seeded Spartans in a Division II quarterfinal match at Farrington.

Kamehameha Hawai'i (13-3), last year's D-II runner-up, will face McKinley (15-1) in a semifinal match tomorrow at Farrington at 8 p.m.

Seabury Hall led 25-17 at halftime, but was outscored 36-21 in the second half.

Seabury Hall (12-1) will play Waimea (8-3) in a consolation round match tomorrow at Farrington at 6 p.m.

No. 2 McKinley 58, Waimea 33

Kaitlyn Ikehara hit six 3-pointers to finish with 18 points as the second-seeded Tigers (15-1) advanced past the Menehune (8-3) in a Division II quarterfinal match at Farrington.

McKinley led 26-9 after the first quarter and 40-16 at halftime.

Moani Durant scored 16 points for Waimea.

Campbell 45, No. 4 Hawai'i Prep 35

Oli Kila scored 12 points as the Sabers (14-2) defeated Ka Makani (9-6) in a Division II quarterfinal match at McKinley.

Campbell will face top-seeded Sacred Hearts (14-0) in a semifinal match tomorrow at McKinley at 8 p.m.

The Sabers held Ka Makani to just 20 percent shooting from the field. Tayler Wang scored 12 points for Hawai'i Prep, but shot just 2-for-20 from the field.

Hawai'i Prep, led by Kela Fitzgerald's 14 points and 12 rebounds, will face Kailua (11-6) in a consolation round match tomorrow at McKinley at 6 p.m.

No. 1 Sacred Hearts 52, Kailua 37

The top-seeded Lancers (14-0) won in their first state tournament appearance, defeating the Surfriders (11-6) in a quarterfinal match at McKinley.
