State basketball: 'Iolani advances

Third-seeded 'Iolani (12-2) defeated Radford, 50-39, in a girls state tournament quaterfinal game at the Stan Sheriff Center.Alana Matayoshi and Chanel Hirata scored 10 points each for 'Iolani, which will face Konawaena (15-0) in a semifinal match tomorrow at 6 p.m.
Radford (14-3), led by Ta Nitra Byrd's 22 points and 20 rebounds, will face Kalani in a consolation round match tomorrow at 4 p.m.
