St. Andrew's Priory marks 140th anniversary

Tomorrow marks the 140th anniversary date of when St. Andrew's Priory was founded by Queen Emma Kaleleonalani and Mother Lydia Sellon of the Anglican Church.The all-girls school will celebrate the anniversary with a special 9 a.m. Ascension Day chapel at St. Andrew's Cathedral followed by a ceremony at the school's historic Coral Cross Courtyard.
The 10:15 p.m. ceremony will include the naming of the recipients of 2007-2008 Queen Emma Merit Scholar awards.
