Digital arts & licensing seminar set June 14

The Hawai'i Business Development Center Network will hold a digital arts and licensing seminar June 14 at the center, 1041 Nu'uanu Ave.

The seminar targets musicians, writers, Web site and game designers, photographers, video and other visual artists who want to learn more about licensing, copyright and patents. George Darby, an attorney who specializes in technology and intellectual property, will lead the seminar.

The event will run from 9 a.m.-noon and feature one-on-one consultations with Darby following a lunch break. The seminar costs $45 and the deadline to register is June 7.
