Residents wishing to help Niu Valley Middle School purchase more books for its school library can bring their HI-5¢ recyclables to the school between 7:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. June 1.

The campus is at 310 Halemaumau St.

Not only will the HI-5¢ container recycling drive help the school, it will help divert trash from the landfill, said Roz Chun, recycling drive organizer.

The school didn't meet its fundraising goal during the last recycling drive in March, Chun said.
