Arboretum celebrates Endangered Species Day tomorrow

Lyon Arboretum will celebrate Endangered Species Day tomorrow with an open house and guided tours.

The day is meant to celebrate the nation's commitment to protecting and helping endangered species. Hawai'i has more endangered species per square mile than any other place on the planet.

The event at Lyon Arboretum in Manoa runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guided tours start at 10 a.m.

There will be open houses and tours at the micropropogation lab and seed storage lab.
