UH receives distance learning award

The University of Hawai'i at Manoa's College of Education recently received the United States Distance Learning Association's (USDLA) 21st Century Award for Best Practices in Distance Learning at the 20th Anniversary National Conference in Kansas City, Mo.

The awards program honors outstanding individuals, organizations, and companies for excellence in the field distance learning.

The College of Education will be among this year's awardees listed in the July 2007 edition of "Distance Learning Today," a quarterly supplement in USA Today.

The UH Manoa College of Education was nominated for the award by the Pan Pacific Distance Learning Association.
