UH basketball coach Nash announces recruit signings

University of Hawai'i men's basketball coach Bob Nash announced the signings of four new recruits for the 2007-08 season.

Nash's first recruiting class includes:

  • Paul Campbell, a 6-10 forward out of Arkansas-Fort Smith College. He averaged 3.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season. He will have three seasons of eligibility at UH.

  • Conrad Fitzgerald, a 6-4 guard out of Pendleton High in Florida. He averaged nearly 17 points and 5 rebounds per game as a senior. He will have four seasons of eligibility at UH.

  • Adhar Mayen, a 6-7 forward out of Hill College in Texas. He averaged 13.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game as a freshman last season. He will have three seasons of eligibility at UH.

  • Kareem Nitoto, a 6-3 guard out of San Leandro High in California. He averaged 10.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game as a senior. He will have four seasons of eligibility at UH.

    In addition, Nash said Beau Albrechtson of Kaimuki High and Gary Satterwhite of Radford High will join the team as walk-on players.
