HPD celebrates 75th anniversary

The Honolulu Police Department is holding its 75th anniversary gala at the Sheraton Waikiki tonight.The event runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and includes a cocktail reception, multicourse dinner, entertainment and special presentations. The night is organized by the Honolulu Police Community Foundation.
Tickets to the event cost $175, and are still on sale at First Hawaiian Bank branches in Kahala, Kane'ohe, Kapi'olani, Mililani, Pearlridge and Waipahu. For more information, call Dennis Hu at 525-5697.
