HPU named Hawai'i Marketer of the Year

Hawai'i Pacific University has been named Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association Hawai'i Chapter.The university was recognized for its recruitment campaign to increase inquiries, applications and enrollment at the school.
The AMA chapter also acknowledged the following campaigns:
i Hawai'i Visitor and Convention Bureau's "Picture Hawai'i Contest" as the state's best campaign involving e-marketing.
i Wahoo's Fish Taco's grassroots branding efforts as the best campaign in marketing of a new product or service.
i Pacific Aviation Museum-Pearl Harbor's "Grand Opening Membership Drive" as the best marketing campaign by a nonprofit.
In addition to honoring Hawai'i's top marketers, the chapter awarded two $500 scholarships to Julia Pranz of Hawai'i Pacific University and Sean Hori of the University of Hawai'i.
