Sunset Beach Christian School will add a ninth-grade class and a K-4 (pre-kindergarten) class for the new school year, which begins July 30.

The ninth-grade curriculum will consist of core subjects such as algebra, English, Bible, physical science, world geography and health.

The K-4 (pre-kindergarten) students will be combined with the traditional K-5 (kindergarten) students.

The school is at 59-578 Kamehameha Highway, near Pupukea Beach Park. The school ended the school year with a student body of 68, according to its Web site.
