McLachlin shoots 72 in PGA Tour event in Georgia

Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot his second consecutive par 72 in the third round of the AT&T Classic at the TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Ga.

McLachlin, a PGA rookie, is at 2-under 214 entering tomorrow's final round. Troy Matteson and Ryuji Imada were tied for the lead at 13 under.

McLachlin started out strong on the front nine, getting birdies on Nos. 4 and 6. He bogeyed the par-4 7th, but birdied the par-3 No. 8 to make the turn at 2 under. He bogeyed the par-4 15th and par-5 18th to finish at even-par.
