Pedestrian hit on Sand Island Access Road near Nimitz

Police are asking that a team of city paramedics be dispatched to the corner of Nimitz Highway and Sand Island Access Roadas quickly as possible to tend to a person hit by a vehicle.
There is no word yet on the condition of the pedestrian.
The incident was reported about 3:15 a.m.
