Surf expected to remain on the skimpy side for now

Advertiser Staff

Surf is expected to be in the 1- to 3-foot range everywhere on O'ahu today except for south-facing shores, which may see some sets later in the afternoon rise to 2 to 4 feet.

A new south swell is expected to arrive sometime today, peak Sunday afternoon, then slowly lower through Wednesday. A second south swell is expected later Tuesday or Wednesday, and peak around Thursday. A short period north swell should arrive later Tuesday and fade by Wednesday. Surf is expected to remain below advisory levels for all these swells.
