It's not too late to take in the Diamond Head Crater Celebration today. Tickets — $69 general, $99 to $175 reserved — are available from 9 a.m. at the Waikiki Shell box office without a service charge and the Ticketmaster outlets at Times Supermarkets.

This is the second annual celebration, sort of a throwback to those crater festivals of the late 1960s and early '70s. Performers include Earth Wind & Fire, Mick Fleetwood's Island Rumours Band (featuring Willie K, Eric Gilliom and Raiatea Helm), The Gregg Rolie Band and other Island acts in a cabaret venue.

Food booths, an auction and arts and crafts round out the celebration.

Gates open at noon. There's no parking in the crater, so attendees will be shuttled to and from the concert from specified parking areas.

Call the hot line at 735-7000, or go to www.cratercelebration.com for details.
