Author, illustrator sign keiki books

Author Kevin Sullivan and illustrator Deb Aoki — collaborators on the books "Auntie Lulu's Zoo: Old MacDonald Hawaiian Style" and "The Best Hawaiian Style Mother Goose Ever!" — will sign their works in appearances around town this weekend.

The schedule:

  • 11 a.m. to noon today at Sam's Club in Pearl City (Sullivan only)

  • 2 to 3 p.m. today at Sam's Club on Ke'eaumoku

  • Noon to 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Navy Exchange

  • 3 to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Borders Books and Music booth at the Hawaii Book & Music Festival on the grounds of Honolulu Hale.

    Aoki, of course, also has a long-running comic strip, "Bento Box," that's published in the Sunday Island Life section of The Advertiser.
