South Shore looks like the place to surf today

The surf has come up a bit over night along the south- and west-facing shores of O'ahu.

South-facing shores should see the largest surf of the day at 4 to 6 feet, forecasters say.

West-facing shores will be close behind with sets in the 2-to-4-foot range.

North-facing shores can expect surf of 2 feet or less whille surf along east-facing shores is expected to remain at 1 to 3 feet.

The arriving south swell will peak today then gradually lower through Wednesday. A second south swell is expected to arrive late Tuesday and peak Wednesday night. Surf on the south shore will remain below the eight foot advisory level.
