Trade winds due to return later in the week

Light winds will continue today and tomorrow, allowing for local land and sea breezes today, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds will likely stack up over the islands during the afternoon and will likely thin out at night, forecasters said.

The trades are due to make a return later in the week.

Here's more on what to expect during the next few days:

Today, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Hazy at times. Highs 76 to 85. South winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, mostly clear with some haze. Lows 63 to 71. North winds around 10 mph.

Monday, sunny, but hazy. Highs 76 to 85. East winds around 10 mph.

Monday night, mostly clear. Lows 63 to 71. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Tuesday, sunny. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 78 to 87. Southeast winds up to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday night, mostly clear. Lows 64 to 73. Northeast winds around 10 mph.
