University of Hawai'i football coach June Jones and Western Athletic Conference commissioner Karl Benson were among the notables who attended today's informational meeting at the capitol.Rep. Jerry Chang, chairman of the state House Higher Education Committee, chaired the joint meeting of House and Senate committees that asked UH athletic director Herman Frazier to appear and discuss the "state" of UH athletics.
Topics included UH's athletic facilities, the football schedule, the department's budget and Frazier's out-of-state travels.
