Ueoka, Mizusawa qualify for U.S. Women's Publinx

Miki Ueoka of Lihu'e, Kaua'i, and Summer Mizusawa of Hilo, Hawai'i, shot 76s Sunday for co-medalist honors at the Lihu'e sectional qualifier for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links.The qualifier was played at the par-73 Wailua Golf Course.
Ueoka, Kaua'i High senior, and Mizusawa, a Waiakea student, qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links, which will be held June 18 to 23 at Kerney Hlll Golf Links in Lexington, Ky.
Cy Okino of Honolulu (77) and Kelli Oride of Lihu'e (79) were first and second alternates, respectively.
