Castle Resorts partners with Ocean Resort Hotel

Castle Resorts & Hotels announced that it will start a sales and marketing partnership as of June 1 with Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki, which adds 450 rooms to their Waikiki inventory .

Castle will manage the sales and marketing for the resort including contracting, direct sales, online and traditional marketing, and reservations.

Alan Mattson, president of Castle Resorts & Hotels, said the move helps Castle offer a much-needed mid-range option in Waikiki. "The property features suites, studios and hotel rooms accommodating a range of budgets within one resort," he said.

Jerry Kimoto, general manager of Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki and Queen Kapi'olani Hotel, said the transition should be seamless for guest and business partners.

"Aligning ourselves with a regional brand for our sales and marketing efforts allows us to have a greater reach in the industry and in our target markets as well as better serve our internal and external guests more efficiently. Both teams are excited about this new partnership," Kimoto said.

Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki is a smoke-free hotel located one block from Waikiki Beach and a short stroll to the Queen Kapiolani Park, Honolulu Zoo, and Waikiki Aquarium.

The property consists of the Pali Tower, 19 floors featuring suites and studios, and the Diamond Tower, 14 floors traditional hotel rooms. . Rates range from $150 to $500 depending on room category and season.
