Mililani alum Balatico named WAC hitter of the week

Balatico, a senior, was 9 for 14 (.643) to help the Spartans take two of three games from Nevada last week. He had three hits in each game and drove in six runs while scoring four.
It was his first WAC hitter of the week honor.
Kyle Howe of Nevada was named WAC pitcher of the week for his two victories, including one over Hawai'i.
UH nominated Jon Hee for hitter of the week and Mark Rodrigues for pitcher of the week.
