Kalaniana'ole work in Waimanalo

Lanes will be closed on Kalaniana'ole Highway eastbound between Mekia Street and Mo'ole Street through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sidewalk and guardrail improvements.

Elsewhere:

 Kamehameha work underway near Pearl Harbor

The right lane will be closed on Kamehameha Highway (outbound) between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for sidewalk, curb and gutter construction. 

The outbound sidewalk will be closed and pedestrian traffic will be rerouted to the sidewalk on the inbound side.

Kamehameha work continues in Pearl City

Lanes will be closed on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ala Ike Street and Waimano Home Road/Lehua Avenue through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement resurfacing work in the vicinity of the Pearl Highlands Shopping Center.

This project will resurface sections of Kamehameha Highway between Ala Ike Street and Waimano Home Road/Lehua Avenue, Honolulu-bound, and between Waimano Home Road/Lehua Avenue and Waihona Street, Wai'anae-bound.  Project completion is anticipated in early June.

 Work continues near Crouching Lion

Lanes may be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn in both directions through Friday from 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. for guardrail maintenance. Traffic will be contra-flowed in the open lane.

Halawa Heights Road to have lane closures

Lanes will be closed on Halawa Heights Road in both directions between Kikania Street and Fernridge Place in the vicinity of Camp Smith through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement marker replacement.

Various daytime road work projects planned

Lanes will be closed through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., at these locations:

  • Left lanes in both directions on Pali Highway from the H-1 Freeway to Vineyard Boulevard for tree relocation work.

  • Left lanes in both directions on Pali Highway near Kuakini Street for tree relocation work.

  • Lanes in both directions on Nimitz Highway near Pacific Street for toning and trenching for traffic-signal system improvements.

  • Left lanes in both directions on Ala Moana Boulevard from Ward Avenue to Pi'ikoi Street for tree relocation work.

    Night work scheduled for Likelike Highway

    Lanes will be closed on Likelike Highway in both directions near the Kahekili Highway intersection through Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for pavement resurfacing work.

    During these hours, there may also be a possible closure of the Likelike Highway off-ramp to Kahekili Highway. Motorists are advised to use Kamehameha Highway or residential streets during these closures.

    H-3 lanes to close near Marine Corps Base Hawai'i

    Lanes will be closed on the H-3 Freeway Honolulu-bound between the Halekou Interchange and Marine Corps Base Hawai'i from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday for pavement striping.

    Farrington project continues in Waipahu

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Farrington Highway, from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway, through Friday for pavement-marking work at these times and locations:

  • Westbound: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Eastbound: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Nimitz-Ala Moana resurfacing

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Ala Moana Boulevard from Punchbowl Street to Keawe Street through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.

    There will also be a 24-hour right lane closure on Ala Moana Boulevard westbound from Punchbowl Street to Richards Street beginning at 8 p.m. Friday and lasting through 5 a.m. Tuesday for bus pad construction.

    Pipeline work on Nimitz Highway

    Lanes will be closed on Nimitz Highway in both directions between Kukahi and Alakawa Streets between 8:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. through Friday.

    This project will identify inactive petroleum pipelines along Nimitz Highway between Nu'uanu Stream and Kapalama Canal, and drain any oil that may still be in them.

    Pu'uloa Road project continues

    Lanes will also close on Pu'uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at these locations:

  • Right-turn lane from Pu'uloa Road to Salt Lake Boulevard for utility line splicing.

  • Left lane southbound near Kilihau Street for utility line splicing.

  • Left lane northbound near Kilihau Street for utility manhole installations.

  • Shoulder lanes in both directions will be closed. Roadside parking will not be permitted.
