Travel & Leisure ranks Halekulani No. 1 Hawai'i hotel

The Halekulani was rated the top hotel in the Hawai'i region by Travel + Leisure magazine in its latest readers poll.The magazine announced the results of the World's Best Service readers' poll 2007 in its June issue.
Poll results suggested that while deluxe amenities are welcomed by guests, it's personal service and attention that can make a hotel stay, a flight or a cruise memorable.
Winners in other categories were: top hotel worldwide, Singita Private Game Reserve (South Africa); top cruise line, Sea Dream Yacht Club; best hotel in the continental U.S. and Canada, Inn at Little Washington; top domestic airline, Midwest Airlines; and top international airline, Singapore Airlines.
