Part-time Hawai'i residents Kelly Preston and John Travolta will host a private benefit dinner at Stage Restaurant in the Honolulu Design Center on Thursday. Proceeds from the $2,500-a-seat dinner will benefit Narconon Hawai'i's establishment of its first residential drug rehabilitation center. Narconon is a nonprofit drug rehabilitation and education network with more than 185 centers around the world. The program's roots are affiliated with the Church of Scientology, whose founder L. Ron Hubbard was an early sponsor of the program. For more information, call coordinator Kimi Matar at 373-9911.
